Upon research we found out that children enjoy animals, this was found by the large amount of tv shows that include animals such as Arthur, Pingu, Octonauts, Peppa Pig, Top Cat, Looney Toons, The Magic Roundabout, Tom and Jerry and Shaun the Sheep. 2/3 of these shows include human characteristics to their characters, like Arthur and Peppa Pig go to school, and Octonauts features speaking characters.Main ideas.
After looking at the high amount of animal based tv shows we decided to follow that idea as it seems to appeal to children rather well. Our show will include multiple animals with the main character being a rabbit. We will have a short opening scene at the start of an object slowly expanding.
We have decided to call out show 'Terry and Twitchy'. Twitchy is a rabbit who seems to be quite the grumpy character with a twitchy name, at which he got the nickname. Whereas Terry is a nice panda in the show. Both characters are complete opposites of each other.
I believe that I may not be very good on this topic as I am mainly good at graphical design and acting other than drawing and children tv shows is quite hard for me to understand. Also I believe that if I were to get a drawing pad, then I'd be able to be more of a help to the group. Although I believe that Frances is amazing at drawing and therefore the designs should be fine. And the other members seem to be great at ideas.
