Anna was in charge of advertising and promotional material, meaning that she would be making/designing the posters for our program.
Originally, her idea was make her poster by hand with Terry & Twitchy written in paper that she glued together to make the letters and to have the rabbit's ears and panda's to stick out over the paper, however this failed as it did not present itself as a proper poster. Also the rest of the group being confused on what it is supposed to be led her to start again.

This was her final idea for the poster/marketing for Terry and Twitchy. Her idea for the poster was for it not be too colourful as the animation does not have much colour to show except the opening sequence with confetti, so having colour wasn't necessary. But I decided that it we needed to add a bit of colour to it so it wouldn't look too bland and boring, so I added some colour to the text. Anna's idea was that the two characters to be seen from the public eye through outside of the window with a line paper background. The audience will able to established that the two character does not actually live in a normal world but a real life animation drawn on a piece of lined paper. Looking back, we could have added even more colour as it is a children's TV show, which are usually full of strong colours to help hold a child's attention. We could have done this by making the window frame a bright red as that usually grabs attention because of its connotations. |
